Down For The Count

Davis continued to vomit, have diarrhea and a fever throughout the night. He never made it off the couch today. The picture below is how he spent the day. I have never seen him feeling this bad. He never said a word today which tells you how sick he is! We are not going to the babyhouse until Friday, when we go to pick Leah up. Since Leah threw up on Milon we didn’t want to keep passing germs back and forth. Hopefully, everyone will be feeling back to normal by Friday.

Milon leaves tomorrow morning. We spent the day gathering last minute things that we will need for the rest of our stay here. Mainly, internet cards, vodka, wine, etc. No really, Milon is taking some vodka back with him. Milon is praying that he doesn’t catch whatever Davis has. We all shared a bottle of water yesterday so we have been on edge all day. This would not be a fun illness to have on a 17 hour plane ride!

It was very warm in Aktobe today. All of the ice that formed yesterday has melted. Now it is a big slushy mess. We walked to the grocery store and couldn’t walk on the sidewalk because of all the pools that had accumulated.

We are now being told that we will either leave Aktobe on March 23rd or March 27th. The Kazakh New Year falls in the middle and might delay our paperwork. We are hoping we are able to leave Aktobe on the 23rd and spend sometime in Almaty. We already would like a change of scenery.

Aww, we hope Day-Day (ella's name for Davis:)) is feeling better, poor thing. ugh. Can't wait until you all can come home and feel clean and back to normal! That picture that Milon took of Leah in the strawberry outfit is TOO CUTE... It is Thursday night, actually Friday 12:12am here, so, it may be Friday morning there? Does that mean you are picking up Miss Leah and bringing her home!!!!! AHHH!! Congratulations, this is so awesome! Can't wait to hear all about it, and that the flu stuff is gone.
love y'all, Lynne
